Founder of Pole Position Sport Pelle Stenbäck, racer and trainer, spent several years studying people coming down the slopes without a proper body position. Should skiers worldwide spend the rest of their skiing life without even experience a basic alpine position?

Ski Schools are emulating the upper body position with different exercises such as holding the ski poles parallel in hands – but they often agree they are missing a practical and good way of transferring knowledge of the basic alpine position.

The problem was solved mechanically – an easy-to-understand-device that corrects your body in real-time instead of training before and after. And that was a success. Pole Position was born – over a weekend in March 2009 we performed human-test together with a ski school and + 100 people and the result was astonishing. Over 95% agreed on that they felt a clear difference and most declared they changed their body position profoundly.

The orange strap was soon to be seen on professional’s alpine racers and ski schools and new thinkers around the skiing community. With now over 5000 sold the product is popular among alpine race-clubs from amateur to WC level, and also an awareness device among ski school and instructors who use it for learning skiing by skiing. Today Pole Position Sport is proudly one the worlds smallest and niched snow company on the face of the planet.
